Elementary School
Elementary School (K-5th)
Watershed Friends School’s Elementary program immerses students in an experiential, integrated curriculum that brings learning to life. Rooted in Project-Based Learning, students from Kindergarten to 5th grade master core academics while engaging in meaningful work that sparks curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. They learn to see connections across subjects and discover how their knowledge can make a real difference in the world.
Elementary students work independently, in small groups, and as a community—practicing collaboration, problem-solving, and empathy along the way. We place equal emphasis on process and product, helping children understand who they are as learners and empowering them to take ownership of their growth.
Our teachers are innovative, caring educators who meet each student where they are, nurturing unique strengths and passions while creating highly engaging, inclusive environments. They model curiosity and lifelong learning, and they know how to bring out the best in every child. In this setting, academics, creativity, and character development work hand in hand—ensuring that students not only achieve but thrive.
