At Watershed Friends School, our youngest learners receive a gentle, joyful start to school through a play-based approach. Early Childhood students explore at their own pace, with rich materials that spark imagination and creativity, and plenty of outdoor play that engages the whole body and mind. Our caring teachers nurture each child’s unique growth—helping them build confidence, form lasting friendships, and discover the wonder of learning in their own way.

- Preschool: 2yrs 6 mos–4yrs
- Pre-K: Over 4yrs
- Schedule Options Mon-Fri:
- Half Day (8:30am-12:15pm)
- Full Day (8:30am-3:00pm)
- 9:15am start on Wednesdays
- Approx. 16 students per class
- Student teacher ratio is about 6:1
- Two full-time lead teachers per class
- Two of our EC teachers received the “Teacher of the Year” award
- 100% of our EC teachers have their master’s degree
- Additional specialist teachers for weekly Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education, and Library classes
- Early and after-school care is available
